Why have Auckland’s transport authority been removing Lime scooters from the city?
Last week the council in Auckland banned Lime scooters because some scooters seemed to have a fault. Lots of people have been hurt by the serious fault where the front brake locks up without warning. They are deciding today if they should ban them forever.

Hi Deklan, the Lime scooters have definitely been having a few problems. They seem to travel quite quickly so I can imagine it hurt a lot when the front brakes locked up and people fell off however I still think they look like fun and would like to ride one. I think I will wait until they sort out the faults before I try though.
