MYTH Map
This week my class made a map on places that Poutini travelled in New Zealand after he stole Waitaiki from Mayor Island. This legend is a legend from The West Coast and explains the origin of Pounamu. Here is my map explaining the places he visited.
De Bono’s Thinking Hats
This week my class did a 6 thinking hats activity about a newspaper article. We worked in groups. The newspaper article was about a albino panda that had been spotted in China. I enjoyed this activity because I like learning about things that are happening in the world. Here is my slide...

Blog check
Today we reviewed our blogs. We looked at what we have been blogging about, what type of posts we have been creating and how many posts we have done. I found that I post things about Inquiry most and that I have not posted anything on maths so my goal is to post at least 3 maths post by term 4.
I have found that I post more things with photos and writing than any other things so my goal is to do more posts with slides in them.

Hanmer Vocabulary
WALT: Understand and explain scientific language related to Thermal Pools.
For this task we had to choose a vocabulary word related to Hanmer Spring's and then define it and find out what it had to do with Hanmer. Finally we had to create a google drawing to share our learning on our blog. I chose the earth's core. Here is what I found out.
