Six Thinking Hats

 This week my class made a six thinking hat slide about our reading text.  We had to think about the article using all of the thinking hats before coming up with our own opinion.  Here is my slide.

MYTH Map

This week my class made a map on places that Poutini travelled in New Zealand after he stole Waitaiki from Mayor Island.  This legend is a legend from The West Coast and explains the origin of Pounamu.  Here is my map explaining the places he visited.

Reading reflection

WALT: infer the meaning from a sentence.  

This week in reading we have been reading sentences and answering questions where the answer is hidden.  I found this quite easy because I could find the key words.  Now I need to work on doing it with paragraphs.
