At assembly today I got a award for being a good tuakana. I am the one on the bottom left in the red.

For numeracy this week we had to do this DLO about place value.  It was very easy to do.  Now I want to learn to do this with bigger numbers.

This week for literacy we had to make a spinal poem. A spinal poem is when you get some books and line up the titles on the spine. This is my poem.

This week for literacy I did some free writing. I like free writing it is fun. My goal is is to write several sentences with correct punctuation.  

T1W4 electronics reflection

Today a man called Andrew came to our class and he taught us about electricity and how it works. My favorite bit was when we got the battery shaped like a button and the LED. When you put one of those battery on the LED the LED lights up. Do you know anything about electronics?

Welcome to 2017.

This week we have been working with a buddy because the Year 5's do not get their Chromebooks until next week. My buddy is Honor. She can't wait until she gets her Chromebook so she can take it home.

Our favourite things about this week were playing crazy tag and Mrs P reading the book. Here are our typing test results for this week.
