Food Pyramid

 Over the past couple of weeks  we have been looking  at  fruits and veges. Today we created our own food pyramids with some of our favrourite foods.

story

My grandad is phil and he has Black hair with some grey through it.   His hair is quite short with a little wavy bit and A little bit receding. Grandad face is usually clean shaven (no whiskers). He as a few wrinkles but you mostly see his Big beaming smile. Grandad usually

wears glasses to read and drive. He is Very talkative and repeats stories with a big laugh.

My favorite

moment with grandad was when i went in his big summerlands truck it was like i was in the clouds it was so high. His truck is green and the trailer says summerlands here is a photo of a truck like his. One day me and grandad went to some landcorp farms to deliver dog food and dog roll it was fun it was so fun hopefully i get to do it again.    

WALT: Create poster to persuade others to read a book

This week for literacy we had to make a poster about a book.  We had to use a catchy question to get people to look at our poster and also use interesting adjectives.  Here is my poster.  Would you like to read this book?

LIteracy - Endangered Species

Endangered Animals.

For Literacy we are looking at Survival,  as part of this we are looking at endangered animals,  one of these being Whitebait.

Above is a pre-reading task that we had to do,  which showed our prior knowledge on endangered animals.

I am really enjoying the survival tasks,   as we also get to go to the garden and field trips to the estuary to see the whitebait habitats.

Reading reflection

WALT: infer the meaning from a sentence.  

This week in reading we have been reading sentences and answering questions where the answer is hidden.  I found this quite easy because I could find the key words.  Now I need to work on doing it with paragraphs.
